Guidelines for Shipping
In anticipation of living on campus, there may be some items you wish to ship directly to campus. Read below to learn about Stanford's mail and delivery services.
Undergraduate Mail & Package Center
All undergraduate student mail and packages are delivered to one central campus location: Stanford's Undergraduate Mail & Package Center, located in Tresidder Memorial Union.
This is where students living in undergraduate housing, including large residences and Row houses, receive all mail and packages (envelopes, express mail, certified mail and packages delivered via Amazon, FedEx, UPS and USPS).
The center is operated by UG2, a vendor that provides a range of support services for the university. Printing services are also available in the center.

Note to New Students
As a new student, please keep in mind that you may only receive packages after you have moved in. Any packages delivered before your move-in may be returned to sender, due to space limitations at the package center. If you are planning to stay in a nearby hotel before checking in at Stanford, you may wish to inquire if you can have packages shipped there.
Ship to School Service Option
As students are unable to receive packages at the Package Center before moving in, Stanford housing has collaborated with our storage vendor, Collegeboxes, to provide Ship-to-School Service. This service provides a cost-effective, convenient, and reliable way to transport your personal belongings and packages, having them delivered directly to your room or apartment at a specific time. Please note that this is a separate process and service from standard package shipping and delivery (outlined above). The university assumes no responsibility for loss of, or damage to, items included in this process. Additionally, contracts with vendors are entered into by the student and the firm. The university is not a party to these contracts. See Storage Services for more information about this shipping option.
Stanford Post Office
The U.S. Post Office located in White Plaza on campus will continue to operate, but without mailboxes for students living in undergraduate housing. While you will not receive mail/packages from the Post Office, you can send mail and packages via the Post Office.
