2026 NSO Student Opportunities

We welcome currently enrolled students to apply or sign up for the following roles:

  • Orientation Coordinator: Orientation Coordinators (OCs) are the core student staff that support Approaching Stanford and New Student Orientation. Application Process: Applications currently accepted on a rolling basis until all positions are filled.
  • Student Leaders: NSO Student Leaders help campus centers and offices host events for NSO. Priority application deadline: May 10 2026. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until all positions are filled.
  • Orientation Volunteers: Orientation Volunteers (OVs) support NSO staff in carrying out all the programs and events through the week of NSO. Find out more about being a part of the NSO team when applications open in spring/summer! Application will open in late Spring Quarter and close in mid-Summer.
  • Move-In Day Volunteers: Help move in our new students on Move-In Day: Tuesday, September 15, 2026! If you'll be on campus for another program and cannot be an OV, come welcome our frosh and transfers by being a part of Move-In Day! Application will open in mid-Summer. Sign-up deadline: August 31, 2026.
  • Speakers & Performers: NSO Faces of Community includes student speakers and performers selected by the program producers. To inquire about participating in Faces of Community, please contact the Office of Student Engagement.
